MI Foodie Adventures
I’ve always enjoyed two things in life: food and telling stories. I worked in the food industry for about ten years since I was 14 before fully committing to my career in news. I’ve also been an avid storyteller for as long as I can remember, from crazy (but perhaps somewhat creative) adventure stories I’d write as a kid, reciting fond memories or life experiences with friends and family, or to my 11 years informing viewers across the country as a journalist.
This website is the culmination of my passions for food and storytelling and the vehicle by which I hope to share the stories of chefs, restaurateurs, and fellow foodies across Michigan. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication in and outside the kitchen, and chefs everywhere have a story to tell — one often told through their cooking. From creative inception to the manifested meals placed before you, my goal is to tell the stories of food and chefs across Michigan.
