West Bloomfield, MI — A local restaurant management group behind several Metro Detroit eateries is bringing a taste of Italy to West Bloomfield this summer.

Oakland County’s newest addition to its restaurant roster will be Prime Concepts Detroit’s homage to the flavors of Italy’s Amalfi Coast. Aurora Italiana is setting up shop near the corner of Orchard Lake and Maple Roads in West Bloomfield. Prime Concept Detroit’s corporate culinary team is curating a menu to feature vibrant and fresh flavors with dishes inspired by the island of Capri.

According to a press release, the menu will include things like burrata caprese, cacio e pepe, veal ossobuco, and fresh whole-fish offerings flown in daily from the Mediterranean!

“Aurora’s menu has traditional Italian roots, featuring imported cheeses and cured meats, frittura mista, and Margherita pizza, all of which are complemented by wonderful pasta dishes like our fresh tonnarelli allo scoglio (seafood pasta) and linguine al’aragosta (lobster pasta),” said Stolion Liti. Liti is a managing partner and director of operations at Prime Concepts Detroit. Liti will also be at the helm of Aurora Italiana’s operations.

“Our daily features will focus on fresh Mediterranean fish like branzino, orata, turbot, Dover sole, and many more exotic whole fish options,” Liti said.

The restaurant will be designed within a completely renovated 8,500-square-foot space, incorporating custom murals and commissioned works of art. Prime Concepts Detroit is utilizing Royal Oak-based Art Harrison Interiors to oversee the interior design.

For anyone interested in booking private events, the restaurant will have a banquet facility, which can host up to 350 guests. The event space has a private bar, lounge seating, a flexible floor plan, private valet, full A/V capabilities, private bathrooms, custom menus, and more.
